4^th Annual Voices Across Cultures

Musical Concert 2009

This year’s Annual Voices Across cultures musical concert will be declared open by Robert Faucher, American Acting Ambassador to Ireland –on Friday 20^thMarch at Dunamaise Art Theatre, Portlaoise.

In memory of Sean O’Reilly

This years’ concert is dedicated to the memory of Sean O’Reilly who was a constant feature from the beginning and who is sorely missed.

Proceeds from the gate will be donated to Laois Hospice.

Cuban All Star Band

Special guest artist on the night is the Cuban All Star Band and they will be supported by:

African Percussion,
Real Celtic Riverdance and
solo artists;
Jamaican,
Irish and
Slovaks folk music

The concert is organized by Voices Across Cultures - the organization that raises cultural awareness and promotes cross-cultural understanding and integration in association with Laois County Council, Laois Ethnic Minority Support Group and supported by Hughes Pharmacy, Kieran Dempsey, Portlaoise Credit Union and Kingfisher.
